What is the difference between large hexagon head high strength bolt and torsional shear type high strength bolt?

High strength bolts are mainly used in steel structure engineering to connect the connection points of steel structure plates. According to the construction technology, there are two kinds of high-strength bolts: big hexagon head high-strength bolt and torsional shear type high-strength bolt. Their connection performance is the same as their own mechanical performance, and they all determine the axial force of the bolt based on the torque. But fundamentally, they are quite different. 1. In terms of appearance
The shape of the big hexagon head high strength bolt is different from that of the torsional shear type high strength bolt. The torsional shear head is semicircular, and there is a plum head at the end of the bolt.

Large hexagon head high strength bolt is installed with torque wrench. In the process of installation, the torsional shear type high-strength bolt is controlled by the quincunx head at the tail, and the bolt is tightened reversely by the counter force of torque until the straight toothed tail end of the bolt is broken.
3. From the perspective of supporting mode
Big hexagon head high strength bolt is different from torsional shear type high strength bolt. Each set of big hexagon is equipped with a bolt, a nut and two flat pads. The torsional shear type is a bolt, a nut and a flat pad.
3. From the perspective of torque control
The torque of large hexagon high-strength bolt is controlled by construction tools, while the torque of torsion shear high-strength bolt belongs to the self scalar type bolt. The construction tightening torque is determined by the cut diameter between the screw and the end of the bolt, that is to say, it is controlled by the torque of torsion, and special electric wrench shall be used during construction.
Generally speaking, the large hexagon high-strength bolt belongs to the high-strength level of ordinary screws, while the torsional shear type high-strength bolt is the improved type of large hexagon high-strength bolt.
