Function of cone head and sleeve
Function of cone head and sleeve
Cone head: when the steel pipe with the larger diameter is connected with the ball in the bolt ball steel structure grid, the pipe head is made into a cone to avoid the collision of the pipe head (one ball is generally connected with 8 pipes). The cone-shaped prefabricated part welded to the steel pipe is called the cone head.
Sleeve: hexagon sleeve designed to make the bolt of steel pipe head tightly screw in the screw hole of the ball when the steel pipe is connected with the ball.

The cone head is a rotating thick wall shell, which bears the tensile force from the bolt or the axisymmetric pressure of the sleeve. Cone head and bolt are axisymmetric bodies of rotation, and the constraint conditions of cone head and bolt are also axisymmetric.
The sleeve of steel structure grid structure is commonly known as anilox nut. There is a small hole on it, which is sleeved on the high-strength bolt. The small hole is aligned with the keyway on the high-strength bolt, and the jackscrew is screwed in. In this way, when the anilox nut (sleeve) is screwed with a wrench, the high-strength bolt in the rod will rotate accordingly. It has the advantages of high strength, good corrosion resistance, beautiful decoration and low price
