Specification requirements for installation of high strength bolts
When we assemble high strength bolt connection pairs, the side of nut with round table should face the chamfered side of gasket. In general, when using large hexagon head to assemble high strength bolt connection pair, the side with chamfered edge on the lower gasket of bolt head should face the bolt head.

When installing high-strength bolts, the construction personnel should strictly prohibit the forced penetration of bolts (here, such as hammering). If you can't get through freely, you should use reamer to trim the hole. The maximum diameter of the hole shall be less than 2 times of the bolt diameter after completion. When repairing holes, in order to prevent iron chips from falling into the plate joint, all bolts around should be tightened before reaming, and check whether they are firm, so that the steel plate can be tilted tightly before operation. One of the things that needs special attention is the strict prohibition of gas cutting to enlarge the hole. Gas cutting and reaming are more likely to occur on site and require special inspection.
