How to install steel structure bolts
1. The orientation of steel structure bolts should be based on convenient engineering construction, and each connection point should be neat and consistent. After threading high-strength bolts and tightening them with a wrench, remove the temporary bolts and replace them with high-strength bolts.
2. The tightening of high-strength bolts must be carried out in two stages. The first time is initial tightening: the initial tightening is 60% to 80% of the bolt's standard axial force (i.e. the design concept's pre tensile strength). The second tightening is the final tightening, and the red plum blossom clamp head should be removed from the shear type high-strength bolt during the final tightening.
3. After the steel structure is lifted for a construction section and a stable structural module is generated, high-strength bolts are just installed.
4. When installing torsion shear type high-strength bolts, attention should be paid to the orientation: the sealing ring of the bolt should be installed on the side of the nut, and the side with chamfered corners in the sealing ring hole should touch the nut.
5. The bolts that have completed the initial tightening should be labeled for confirmation. To avoid missing tightening, high-strength bolts installed on the same day should be finally tightened on the same day.
6. Both the initial and final tightening should be carried out through a symmetrical outward diffusion method from the middle of the bolt group to the surrounding area.
7. Due to the limited indoor space, high-strength bolt handles are not suitable for actual operating positions. Widened waterproof sleeves or manual wrenches can be used for installation.
8. Torsional shear type high-strength bolts should have all the red plum blossom heads at the tail end removed as the final tightening, and should not be ignored.
