Electroplating, hot-dip galvanizing, and mechanical equipment plating on the surface of fasteners are widely used methods. The entire process of creating a soil layer on the surface of the fastener can show a more beautiful and elegant surface after surface treatment, and the corrosion resistance of the fastener itself will gradually improve. The more crucial goal is to enhance the reliability and adaptability of fastener applications by enhancing the corrosion resistance of the fastener itself. Therefore, the quality discrimination of fastener surface treatment is more crucial to check whether the corrosion resistance of the fastener is reasonably improved and whether the degree of improvement meets the estimated requirements.

1. Electroplating of fasteners refers to the infiltration of a part of the fastener that must be electroplated into a special solution. The solution will contain some accumulated metal material chemicals, so that the metal material chemicals in the aqueous solution dissolve and adhere to the infiltrated part of the fastener based on the amount of current in the solution. The electroplating of fasteners generally includes hot-dip galvanizing, copper, nickel, chromium, copper nickel alloy, etc.

2. Hot dip galvanizing of fasteners involves infiltrating carbon steel components of fasteners into a molten zinc plating bath with a concentration of approximately 510 ℃. This changes the iron zinc alloy material on the surface of the fastener to passivated zinc, resulting in actual surface treatment effects. The cost of hot-dip galvanizing for fasteners is higher than electroplating, which is approximately 1.5 to 2 yuan per kilogram.

3. The mechanical equipment plating of fasteners refers to the use of coating metal material powder according to special physics and organic chemistry methods to impact the surface of fasteners. In this way, the coating metal material generates a coating on the surface of the fastener through cold welding, achieving the actual effect of surface treatment. The mechanical equipment plating of fasteners is suitable for accessories such as screws, screw caps, and sealing gaskets.
