Teach you how to correctly install steel structural bolts
Steel structure bolts are commonly referred to as steel structure bolt connection pairs in production, and are not generally referred to as high-strength bolts. Steel structural bolts are mainly used in the construction of industrial and civil buildings, railway bridges, highway bridges, pipeline bridges, tower and mast structures, boiler frames, boiler steel structures, large-span industrial factories, high-rise civil buildings, various towers, light steel structures, lifting machinery, and other steel structure connection buildings.
Each connecting pair includes a bolt, a nut, and two washers. Steel structural bolts are divided into large hexagonal head bolts and torsional shear type bolts based on the characteristics of the device. When assembling high-strength torsional shear type bolt connection pairs, the side of the nut with a circular table should face the chamfered side of the washer; The high-strength torsional shear type bolt connection pair for steel structures is an improved version of the large hexagonal bolt connection pair for steel structures. The main advantage is that the construction of the larger hexagonal bolt is simple, and the construction space is small. It is safe, simple, and convenient to use an electric wrench to directly unscrew the tail end of the plum blossom head. Moreover, it is very convenient to check the construction quality without the need for professional personnel or equipment. Generally, visual inspection confirms that the plum blossom head has been removed to ensure the construction quality.
However, the production cost of high-strength torsional shear type bolt connection pairs is higher than that of hexagonal bolts. The torsional shear type bolt connection pair GB/T3632 includes one bolt, one nut, and one gasket per set. When assembling the connecting pair of large hexagonal steel structural bolts, the chamfered side of the washer under the bolt head should face the bolt head; When constructing high strength bolts with large hexagonal heads, a torque wrench is required, which requires a large operating space and can be completed in two parts: initial and final tightening. Construction is relatively more time-consuming compared to torsion shear bolts; Quality inspection also requires torque inspection, requiring professional equipment and quality inspectors.
