The torque of large hexagon high-strength bolt is controlled by construction tools, while the torsion shear type high-strength bolt belongs to self scalar type bolt. The construction tightening torque is determined by the cut diameter between the screw and the plum head of the bolt tail, that is, it is controlled by its torque. Special electric wrench shall be used during construction.
Generally speaking, the large hexagon high strength bolt belongs to the high strength level of ordinary screw, while the torsional shear high strength bolt is an improved type of large hexagon high strength bolt. Although it is the same kind of bolt, there are still great differences in some subtle aspects. Compared with the two, the torsion shear type high-strength bolt has the advantages of convenient construction, intuitive inspection, good stress, and quality assurance.
