Classification of high strength bolts

Friction type high strength bolt: it is suitable for steel frame structure beam, column connection, solid web beam connection, heavy crane beam connection of industrial plant, brake system and important structure bearing dynamic load.
Bearing type high strength bolt: it can be used for shear connection in static load structure or indirectly bearing dynamic load.
Tensile type high strength bolt: when the bolt is in tension, its fatigue strength is low, and its bearing capacity is not easy to exceed 0.6p (P is the allowable axial force of bolt) under dynamic load. Therefore, it is only suitable for use under static load, such as flange butt joint of compression bar, T-joint, etc.
