How to install steel structure bolts

1. The penetration direction of steel structure bolts shall be in accordance with the standard of convenient engineering construction, and each connection point shall be neat and consistent. Insert high-strength bolts and tighten them with spanners, then remove temporary bolts and replace them with high-strength bolts.
2. The tightening of high strength bolts must be carried out twice. The first time is the initial tightening: the initial torsion is tightened to 60% - 80% of the standard axial force (i.e. the pre tension of design concept). The second tightening is the final tightening. During the final tightening, the red plum blossom chuck should be screwed off.
3. After a project construction section is lifted, the steel structure produces stable structure module, and high-strength bolts are just installed.
4. Attention should be paid to the orientation when installing the high strength bolt of torsion shear type: the sealing ring of the bolt is installed on the side of the nut, and the side with fillet of the sealing ring hole should touch the nut.

5. The bolts after initial tightening shall be marked for confirmation. In order to avoid missed tightening, the high-strength bolts installed on the same day should be finally screwed.
6. The initial tightening and final tightening should be conducted from the middle of the bolt group to the surrounding symmetrical external diffusion method.
7. Due to the narrow indoor space, the high-strength bolt handle is not suitable for the actual operation position, so the widened waterproof sleeve or manual wrench can be used for installation.  
8. Torsion shear type high-strength bolts should be all screwed off the end of the red plum blossom clamp is the end of the final tightening, it is prohibited to ignore.
